The SigneDemocracy project officially began its work with the kick-off meeting of the partners from Slovakia, Greece, and Bulgaria, which took place on March 30, 2026, in Bratislava. This meeting marked the beginning of a substantial effort to ensure a more inclusive and accessible democracy.

Project Objective
SigneDemocracy aims to empower Deaf and hard-of-hearing youth by strengthening their democratic participation, social engagement, and intercultural dialogue. The project’s activities will focus on creating specialized educational materials, developing and establishing Deaf Youth Parliaments (Deaf Youth Parliaments), and on supporting young people to become active citizens, both locally and across Europe.
