Welcome to the "Centre of Hellenic Sign Language»!K.E.N.G is an accredited association, which is located in Egnatia 63 STR in Thessalonica and it aims in providing services related with Sign Language.
The H.S.L has been recognized as the official language of the Deaf-community by special act (2817/2000). K.E.N.G cooperates with the Hellenic Federation of the Deaf and abides by its teaching regulations.
K.E.N.G aims not only in teaching hearing people the H.S.L It goes a little further...It aims in bridging the gap between Hearing and Deaf people in their daily contacts. This results to the facilitation of both sides in all sectors of life, such as their business cooperation, the opportunity for Hearing people to graduate with the Interpretation degree and to work in Deaf schools, as professors and schoolteachers.
Every year the Centre of Hellenic Sign Language organises Seminars not only for its students but also for those who are interested in learning about the Deaf Community and the Education of Deaf children.
